Week 9 post 2

Had a great Easter down on Cape Cod with my wife, son and daughter.  My sister, her husband and my two nephews stayed with us for the weekend as well.  We were very lucky weather wise.  It was nice Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  That has not happened for a while.  Keeping fingers crossed that this is the real start of spring.

I will say its OK, but this assignment took me the longest time to get it to turn green.  After completing this assignment, i wanted to call it FQuery.  LOL

Week 8 post 2

At my job, we track union membership.  I have proposed in the past to allow members to log in through our website and have the ability to update their personal information such as new address, new phone number or email address.

I enjoyed doing the interactive web page assignment more than just the static html pages earlier in the course.  It seems to me you can make your JavaScript page just so much more personal. 

Week 7 Post 2

I am so done with snow. 19 inches of snow in Boston this week. Less than 2 weeks of winter left. Please hurry spring. They best thing about the snow was that before we started to have to go out and shovel out 2 cars, a sidewalk and a walkway, the doorbell rang. A couple of guys asked if we wanted them to shovel us out. What a God send. They did a great job and only wanted $40.00. The best money spent and our backs felt great.

Week 7 Post 1

The forms creation assignment was cool. It made me really think. What if there were not such things as forms.html. Where would our online taxes, shopping, signing up for classes here @UML be? They would be non-existent I believe.
